The Old North State Fact Book contains information about and color pictures of all the official symbols, along with many other interesting and useful facts about the Tar Heel State. It includes general information on the state’s history, the State Capitol, the Legislative Building, the executive residences of North Carolina, the state flag, seal, song, motto, and other similar topics. Among the book’s helpful features is a list of all North Carolina’s governors, which gives the dates of their term(s) in office.
